Living in Southern California, we enjoy the best of everything: The best weather, gorgeous landscapes, and a unique culture unlike any other. And that includes some of the best farmers’ markets. There are plenty of farmers’ markets happening every week. Here are some great Southern California farmers’ markets to visit for the best local produce and delicious baked treats.

 

Tuesday

Huntington Beach – Surf City Nights 

Downtown Huntington Beach | 5-9 PM

Surf City Nights is a weekly street fair and certified farmers’ market with plenty of fresh produce, artisan crafts and fresh baked goods. Walk through the first three blocks of Huntington’s Main Street as you try new treats and stock up on local produce for the week ahead.

 

Orange – Irvine Regional Park 

1 Irvine Park Road, Orange | 9-1 PM

Enjoy free admission to Irvine Regional Park as you stroll through this morning farmers’ market. After you finish, stick around and visit the on-site zoo, ride the railroad or sit on a picnic table and enjoy the sweet treats you’ve bought.  

 

Wednesday

Tustin – Old Town

474 El Camino Real, Tustin | 9-1 PM

Every Wednesday, Tustin Old Town comes alive with this weekly farmer’s market. Located at El Camino Real and Third Street, the Tustin Certified Farmers’ Market hosts local farmers selling only the best local produce. 

 

Thursday 

Costa Mesa – OC Fairgrounds

88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa | 9-1 PM

For Southern California residents, the OC Fairgrounds are a staple for hosting large events. Famous for the OC Fair, you might not know that every Thursday morning, Lot D transforms into a farmers’ market

  

Friday

San Juan Capistrano – Farmakis Farms

29921 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano | 9-1 PM

Farmakis Farms is a family-owned Christmas tree farm and certified farmers’ market located in San Juan Capistrano. Join every Friday morning for a spread of local farmers and small business owners selling their food and homemade crafts. 

 

Saturday 

Orange – Orange Home Grown Farmers and Artisans Market

9-1 PM | 202 West Palm Avenue, Orange | 9-1 PM 

Between Lemon and Cypress Street is this morning farmer’s market, just a few blocks away from the Orange Circle. This market not only offers fresh produce and baked goods, but activities such as live music and educational classes.  

 

Sunday

Newport Beach Pier Farmers’ Market

104 Mc Fadden Pl, Newport Beach | 9-1 PM

Rain or shine, the Newport Beach farmers’ market is open, ready to provide fresh seasonal vegetables, eggs, nuts and baked goods. After shopping, stroll down the pier and enjoy the morning sea breeze. 

 

Irvine – The Great Park

8000 Great Park Blvd, Irvine | 10-2 PM
