Spring is finally here! After a cold winter, Southern California is warming up with plenty of events all throughout the month of April. Whether you are looking for an all-day event or something more casual, there are so many events planned for this month for everyone to enjoy. Check out this list so you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

 

Kidstock

April 3-7 and April 10-14 | Irvine

Pretend City’s Kidstock Music and Arts Festival is back! Celebrate music in all its forms with live musical performances and crafts. This multi-day event spans from April 3-7 and April 10-14, with most performances occurring at 11 AM and 2:30 PM. Acts like Soul Sounds Alchemy and OSCA Ballet Folklorico Las Estrellas will be sure to have the whole family dancing to the beat. While listening to the performances, activities like bracelet making, weaving, and face painting will unleash everyone’s creativity.

OC Japan Fair

April 19 – April 21 | Anaheim

Immerse yourself in Japanese culture, food and vendors with the OC Japan Fair at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa. Spanning over three days, this is the largest Japanese festival in Southern California. This cultural festival will include shopping, food, and performances from Japanese artists. From traditional Japanese musical performances to J-Pop, this festival is a blend of the old and new. And with over 40 food vendors and almost 90 goods vendors, get ready to discover something new. Corgi Beach Day

April 6 | Huntington Beach

Corgi Beach Day has become a Southern California staple over the past few years. Now in its 12th year, Corgi Beach Day is back and better than ever. This year, Corgi Beach Day is happening April 6th at the Huntington Dog Beach from 10 AM to 3 PM. Meet new furry friends, compete in contests and shop in the “Corgi Marketplace” with over thirty vendors.

Thousands of corgis and pet-loving people attend this event, so make sure to arrive early. This year’s theme is Corgs Ahoy, so make sure to dress yourself and your furry friend in your best nautical-themed attire.

 

Subterranean Soundscapes: Classical Candlelight 

April 17 | Mission Viejo

Experience a classical string symphony like never before. Listen to the Pacific Symphony as they perform inside the Jeronimo Tunnel located near the intersection of Jeronimo and Arbolitos. Sit and listen to the music reverberate off the walls for an immersive listening experience. No registration or tickets are required for this event, but guests are encouraged to arrive early.

 

Villa Park Cars & Coffee

April 21 | Villa Park

Calling all car buffs! This free event at Villa Park Town Center in front of The Coffee Grove lets you get up close to some classic cars. With no registration required, drop in, grab a coffee, and stroll through and look at some amazing cars. Whether you are a die-hard car expert or a casual fan, this laid-back event will have something for anyone. Have a car you want to show off? All types of cars are welcome.
