Irvine Ranch Conservancy
The Irvine Ranch Conservancy works to protect and restore more than 40,000 acres of Southern California's natural open space. Volunteers help with trail maintenance, habitat restoration, native seed collection, invasive plant removal, educational programs, and guided outdoor experiences.
Typical Volunteer Ages: Community volunteer events are often open to teens and adults, with some family-friendly opportunities available for younger children when accompanied by an adult. Specialized volunteer roles typically require additional training and are intended for adults.
North OC Surfrider Foundation
If protecting our beaches and oceans is your passion, the North Orange County chapter of the Surfrider Foundation offers regular beach cleanups, environmental education, and advocacy efforts throughout the year.
