The Power of Exercise

With summer coming to an end, its a great time to reevaluate our habits and establish new ones. Most of us know that exercise is good for us but research shows that there are even more reasons to add exercise to our daily lives.

Stronger bones and muscles: Working out consistently will do wonders for your overall body strength as it builds up your bone and muscle power. Having a stronger body isnt always for aesthetic reasons, but also can prevent injury and give a greater sense of physical stability, which in turn makes working out easier.

Reduces risk of health conditions: Undoubtedly, exercise can make you physically strong as well as improving the strength of your bones and muscles, but it also protects against certain health conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. It can also be a huge help in managing symptoms of chronic conditions as well. Specifically, high- intensity interval training is a huge aid to help combat chronic conditions and can be a huge pain reliever.

Increased energy and mood levels: A good workout, even if it's short, will do amazing things for your overall mood and leave you feeling more energized than ever before. A simple 30- minute run or even fast paced walk can do wonders due to the feel good hormones released, such as endorphins, which evoke positive emotions. Fatigue and underlying feelings of tiredness are also greatly reduced.
