For Melissa Potts, real estate isn’t just a career—it’s a lifelong connection to the community she’s called home since she was two years old. Growing up in Glendora and now raising her own family there, Melissa brings deep local knowledge and genuine pride to every client she serves throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Inland Empire. Before earning her real estate license in 2003, Melissa spent nearly four years as a transaction coordinator, gaining hands-on experience with contracts, disclosures, contingencies, and the coordination required between escrow, lenders, inspectors, and title companies. That behind-the-scenes knowledge gave her a deep understanding of every moving part in a real estate transaction. When she realized she was already doing much of the work that agents do, she decided to step into the role herself—and she’s been helping clients navigate real estate ever since.

Today, Melissa is a licensed broker with Seven Gables Real Estate and serves as Regional Director for 7G Property Management - San Gabriel Valley Division. With more than 15 years of property management experience, she offers clients something many agents can’t: a long-term investment perspective. As a landlord herself, Melissa understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of owning investment property. She approaches every property she manages with the same mindset she would use for her own—focused on protecting the asset, maximizing performance, and helping owners make smart long-term decisions.

Melissa also brings a unique advantage through her close connection to the construction side of real estate. Her husband is a licensed painting contractor and handyman, giving her additional insight into property maintenance, improvements, and cost-effective solutions that help owners protect their investments and avoid costly mistakes.

Clients quickly notice Melissa’s ability to make what can feel like a complicated process simple and approachable. She’s known for answering every question with patience and clarity—even walking clients through contracts line by line when needed—while keeping the process light and stress-free. Her goal is simple: make clients feel confident, supported, and completely taken care of from start to finish.

Beyond real estate, Melissa stays deeply connected to her community. She has served as a PTA officer and is actively involved in local events and activities. When she’s not helping clients buy, sell, or manage property, you’ll find her exploring the country by motorhome with her family—they’ve visited 17 states and countless national parks during their adventures. At home in Glendora, the Potts family raises chickens and sells eggs to neighbors, embracing the small-town charm that makes their community so special.
