Jen Harty is the Director of Marketing at Seven Gables Real Estate, based in Orange County, CA. Since joining the company in 2019, she has led corporate brand strategy, expanded the in-house marketing team, and built agent-focused branding programs that pair authentic storytelling with modern marketing technology. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Journalism, Jen originally set out to become a broadcast journalist — drawn to the craft by a love of stories and the people behind them. That storytelling instinct carried into a career that spanned public relations, personal branding, and corporate advertising, where her largest client was Verizon Wireless. Years of national brand work gave her a deep command of campaign strategy and disciplined creative execution. After stepping back from corporate life, Jen earned her California real estate license and was soon introduced to Seven Gables CEO Mike Hickman. Rather than joining as an agent, the conversation turned to how her marketing expertise could serve the entire brokerage. She became Director of Marketing that same year. Today, Jen leads a team of project managers, social media strategists, and graphic designers who support Seven Gables advisors with targeted listing campaigns, personal brand development, and marketing technology adoption. She also oversees Seven Gables' corporate brand strategy and promotion. Her agent branding process starts with getting to know each agent as a person — who they are, who they love working with, and what they already bring to the table — before any creative is developed. "Many agents think their brand is a logo," Jen says. "In reality, your brand is your reputation — what people say about you when you're not in the room." Jen is a Mike Staver Certified Performance Coach and a graduate of Jason Pantana's AIM Marketing Academy, credentials that combine leadership coaching with real estate–specific marketing strategy. She lives in Orange County with her husband Gavin and their two children; a daughter who plays volleyball at Mater Dei High School and a son who plays D1 baseball at Saint Mary's College. That competitive, committed spirit mirrors the energy she brings to her team and the agents she serves every day.
