TUSTIN STREET FAIR & CHILI COOK-OFF

Join Seven Gables Real Estate at the 39^thAnnual Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This annual party presented by, City of Tustin Parks and Recreation Department, takes place in the streets of Old Town Tustin & Peppertree Park. This vibrant even showcases a variety of exhibitors including, crafters, community organizations, food and chili booths, and craft beers and wine. However this event has the distinct honor of being the largest one-day chili cook-off in the country, according to the International Chili Society. Live music and contests are featured on event stages and there is a Kids Fun Zone with games, bounce houses, and entertainment.

Proceeds from the event are donated to local non-profit organizations and service groups whose members volunteer during the event. The 2022 event was able to give back $18,500 to local non-profit organizations.

2023 GRANT INFORMATION

Every year the Tustin Community Foundation Grant Committee and several members of the Tustin Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off Steering Committee select one or two local non-profit organizations to receive a portion of the event proceeds. The amount of money raised varies from year to year.

Primary Beneficiary: Tustin High School Football Boosters Club

Their mission is to provide the youth in the community the opportunity to prepare for life through the game of football.
To motivate youth to further their education and pursue college.
Helping youth learn life skills through teamwork and working together to accomplish a common goal.

Secondary Beneficiary: Tustin Host Lions Club

Founded in 1948 by 50 local businesses, making it the city’s first established service club.
They provide guidance, funding, and support to many organizations in the Tustin area.
More than 1.4 million people are members of Lions Club International, which has over 46,000 clubs spread throughout more than 200 nations and regions.
