Costa Mesa: The City of Costa Mesa is considered one of Orange County's leading cultural and business centers. Since its beginnings as a small agricultural town, Costa Mesa has undergone many changes but today, the city is a regional center for commerce, with a wide array of educational, social, and recreational amenities.

The City, which formally adopted the slogan "The City of the Arts” in 1999, is home to South Coast Plaza and the Orange County Performing Arts Center - two world-renown facilities known across the country as well as internationally. Other points of interest include: outstanding educational facilities - Orange Coast College, Vanguard University, and Whittier School of Law; Orange County Fair and Event Center and the Pacific Amphitheatre; South Coast Repertory Theatre; the world-class Renee & Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall; Samueli Theater; the Noguchi Gardens; 208-acre Fairview Park; and the 15,000 square foot Volcom skate park. Costa Mesa’s climate, amenities, and proximity to the Pacific Ocean make it uniquely appealing to residents and businesses alike.

Costa Mesa is home to major business headquarters, including Southern California Automobile Club (AAA), Billabong International, Volcom, Emulex, Experian, Hurley International, Rip Curl and Big Dog Motorcycles.
